The amazing, The wonderful, The ingenius-tube scarf! :D

It is warm, it is big, it is cozy and it is very very stylisch-the tube scarf. A real magic piece which is perfect for any windy day, colder evening or just a fashionable stroll through the streets. As you can proooobably imagine due to my ethusiastic use of adjectives-it is-along with the plaid scarf-one of my absolute favorite pieces which is definetely a must in fall and winter.
This is example you can see right here is very big and wollen, in a kind of (seriously I couldn't think of a better example...) seaweed color.

Sunday's DIY-the ear cuff :D

Hey! I hope you're all having a great sunday! You know, when I was thinking about what DIY to do this sunday, I couldn't decide. Yes I know Punk is all about DIY but then most of these"punk style" DIYs involve metal studs which a) I don't have and b) think are cool but by now kind of mainstream...XD That's why I settled for this DIY which granted, isn't very the classic kind of punk but I bet if you choose different beads at the bottom could be the finishing touch on your punk outfit! :D
I have to say I was inspired to this ear cuff by a post the (awesome!) boat people did the other day (here) and the basic idea is from there however you'll notice that in the end I changed a few things...

Alice in Wonderland special :D

Hi everyone! :D
I'm back from the awesome workshop yesterday and today! Today we did a lot of designing using the inspiration from our moodboards. I love workshops like these because you meet so many awesome people which like the same things as you do and with who you can talk about fashion and design. Also especially in this course there were lots of different people from different age groups who you got to know over time and who could all  provide their own experiences.I think this is an essential part of creative work in fashion-of course it is a lot of indepent work in front of your own little desk too-but the exchange of ideas with other people just keeps it exciting!
The first design which you can see on the right is a T-shirt with a print of the two fat twins from Alice in Wonderland. I tried making a kind of suit for the figure which would make it fat and bulky too but for some reason that looked kind of...bizarre (I wonder why?! :D)
so I settled for this print :D btw-don'T you think the head of the figure is kind of similar to the heads of the twins? There is some kind of unintentional resemblance....

Strapless top with necklace

Hi there! So I long ago noticed that I asolutely adore that when you have very free shoulders in summer e.g. because you're wearing a strapless top or a a top with very thin straps, short simple necklaces with a pendant make the look complete. To top it wooden necklaces in an ethno kind of style are the best!
This is a little bit my go of this trend, a sleeveless simple pink shirt which kind of fans out like a dress at the bottom but ends at the waist and some normal black trousers under it.
xoxo Alex
PS: you can barely see that this is me searching for interesting poses again....XD

Vintage shirt outfit

Hi everyone! Did I ever mention-my favorite style of fashion is vintage :D and yes I know it is kind of daring to call this outfit vintage but it is only one of many which will appear on here :D
It is a comfy and baggy tanktop with a large floral...thing.... (basically only a splotch of color) at the front, a pair of jeans, a simple leather bag and not to forget-the laced leather boots :D
xoxo Alex :D
PS: her face is black not because she is part of some weird spiritual group but because I messed up the lips and she looked more like a facebook meme than a person ;)

Ballpoint Pen Series 5 - Alice in Wonderland Top-hat

Hi guys! I apologize for this rather late and rather short post but my head is clouded with physics formulas and hurt cats.
As you see it is a top hat inspired by the one from Alice in Wonderland-bizarre movie by the way, don't you think?-the one that the hatmaker always has. I definetely adore that one so I decided to make my own version!
With this the Ballpoint Pen Series comes to an end-I hope you enjoyed it..and tomorow I have something VERY special for you! :D I can'T wait!!

Ballpointpen Series 4 - happy girl with shades

Hello there! So here we go-part 4 of the pen (:D) series today! Again I had a photo which I found on tumbl the other day as a guideline for this design.
The fashion here is relatively simply-it is a over-lengthed grey knitted top with a pair of blue jeans. What I loved about her outfit is how she styled it. She's wearing a white hat, lots of awesome bracelets, a tourquoise bag but choose not to wear any necklace and put sunglasses there instead.
Tomorow comes the last part of my series-and then I have something very special for you already planned out! I can't wait to share it with you! :D

Ballpoint Pen Series 3 - Camera Girl with leather bag

Hi! What I have for you today is the third part of my ballpoint pen (dude-it is getting really tiring to actually write "ballpoint pen" the whole time...how about we simply say pen from now on?) so the third part of my pen series (aaah much better :D)-
What you see here is my interpretation of a photo I found on the sartorialist the other day. Again I was searching for an interesting pose when I came across this picture of a girl taking a photograph with her camera. On the picture she was dressed completly in denim apart from her (awesooome!) leather bag she had hanging over her shoulder.
I hope you like it!

Necklace with pendant

Hi there! I got inspired to this outfit at a concert I was at recently (a local band-nothing special :D). I loved the way a girl standing near me had styled her necklace so I decided to pick that up in one of my outfit.
The simple tanktop was spiced up with the necklace, which has a large round pendant on it. Along with that is a purple skit with a broad black waistband.-And of course the brown, laced leather boots to finish it off.

Rings and bracelets

Hello! Did you also notice that often I simply leave out hands at the end of the arms? Or that if I draw them, often they are kind of crippled? Well-I decided to work on that problem so I checked out some tutorials on youtube (like this one and this one) and started working. This design, even though it is relatively simple took me a lot longer than the others so I hope you like it!
There are a fair amount of rings on this hand (which-if I had more rings which sadly I don't-I would love to try), in all kinds of different style and colors.
To go with it I also added a few bracelets at the bottom.
xoxo Alex
PS:A dear reader reminded me that I still had to give you the answer from the 7th of September. Well-the movie I was inspired by to draw the coat was Shall we dance with Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. Good movie by the way!

Necklace love

Hey everyone! Today's design is something I've always wanted to try and basically everyone does with bracelets all the time. Just pile lots of different lengthed necklaces together to achieve an amazing, casual effect.
The necklaces are (from shortest to longest) basically a kind of scarf thing with a bow at the end, a middle length necklace with an interestingly shaped pendant, a longer one with a big fabric end piece and a long necklace with a little bow on the side and some big pearls all over.
Btw-don't you think she is kind of bavarian looking with her hair like that and the bangs? I like the way she turned out :D

Colorful Pouch

Hey all of you dear readers! I hope you're doing fine-I certainly am because I just came back from a 10 day vacation-finally some sun!!! This pouch was inspired by all those colorful hippie patterns which appeared everywhere just in time for the festival season.
It is quite small and handy, with a long metal chain to go over the shoulder. It provides space for all the important things you need without being bulky or in the way.
Depending on your styling it can be a part of your colorful hippie outfit or the glamourous addition to you little black dress.
I love it!

Brooch

Hello-it's me! Yesterday I posted that summer dress with the brooch. Well I liked the general idea of a brooch like that so much that I figured I could make a whole post about it. So here we go.
The middle piece is a simple black button (ever since I did an art project with hundreds of different buttons I'm in loooove with them so you'll probably see quite a few of them in the future) which is surrounded by lots of different colored petals in different shapes. They basically form 3 different flowers which are arranged on top of each other.
You can wear this brooch with SOOO many different outfits. You could add it as a little detail on your hobo bag, you could stick it onto your classic sheath dress or pin it to your dark winter cloak to add a little spring to your outfit.
xoxo Alex
