Songbook

One of my favorite things in the world is illustrating the first page of cool notebooks according to their future purpose. These personalized notebooks make awesome and useful presents.
Here I actually did one for me :) The right is empty so it can be packed with song titles, any proposals for the first one? ;)

I'm quite enjoying these exercises. Starting off with a copy is a great thing to get into the flow, and then working out a new, original pose is tedious but essential to make progress I think :) It's fun! :)

Book of World War I finished piece

I'm really happy how this came out, it is definetely one of the pieces I worked hardest on :D I'll definetely keep you guys updated about the project this is for :)

Book of WWI partly colored

Making progress :) But it is taking forever! :O

I'm not happy with some of the saturation of the colors and I still have to color some bits :) But overall I'm pretty happy with the way it is coming along :)

The pen part is finished! :) It took me the rest of the night yesterday, but I'm quite happy the way it turned out! :) I will now proceed to color it digitally and we'll see what happens :)

Oh and I got it scanned as well (as you can probably tell :D ) It was definetely worth the effort I think!
