A Bedhead

Here's another reason why you shouldn't clean: all the precious beautiful calculations you did to determine the exact place for each leaf because you wanted to practise exact life drawing will be for nought. Believe me, this happened. I'm not cleaning ever again.
On that note I might point out that plants are rather fogiving subjects and you should choose something else if you want to brag with your exactness.
Anyway, I love how scrappy and rough this plant looks. Kind of like it just got out of bed don't you think?

Indian Cow

So we were out for Indian food today and there was this awesome cow chillin' on the table. I just had to draw it ;)

I'm experimenting wth different kind of shading at the moment, you can see that quite well at the heard. I'm in love with those really few, effective strokes, that make Gabriel Moreno's drawings for example, so effective...

Apple Pinecone Still Life

Drawing Class today again :D
Still life is something I haven't done in a while (well since last week in drawing class actually XD) so here you go! ;)

It is a mix of aquarelle colors and colored pencil kind of things...I have to say, I'm not unsatisfied with the way it turned out ;)

Hi there!

I have something for you which is quite rare for me. Still life with colored pencils. I don't particularly like it, but it was good as an exercise, and I realised, I do not have enough patience to draw naturalistically, or see the point.

I love how that lea at the top looks a little like a scorpion tail...:D

Travel Sketchbook-Bracelets

Hey guys.
Lets talk about bracelets. Most of you know, they've becom somewhat of an obsession for me. I had a little time that evening so I drwa this lovely still life :P It is the "bracelet tree" from the awesome friend, who also has a slight obsession, I was staying with!

I think you can see the difference between this drawing and the others, mostly because I took a lot more time with this one.

Coke Can finished piece

Good afternoon everyone :) After all the late night posts I'm pretty early today :D

So here's the fnished coke can for you! I'm not sure whether I like it because well, what I was trying to do when I was drawing it, was to seperate it into different color regions and then shade each region evenly. This  only worked to a certain extent as the different lines of the ballpoint pen gave the regions a rough kind of texture and with all the different shades and textures, the whole can is pretty unsettled.

By the way-contrary to the pictures here-the ballpoint pen is black. I only always change the color for these posts because I think the photos look better in sepia as there is not that stab of blue which always magically appears on my photos (if anyone has any tipps on what to do against that please please please tell me! ;)

Hey guys!
So-what do you do in English class (when you're done with the tasks of course! ;D)? Yes-you're right-you draw! and what? anything in front of you....and that is? Ma friends pencil case...well why not?! here you go!

Oh by the way-just a tip when drawing pencil cases-make sure the pens you need for drawing are not in it :P

It is really simple and I think the colors fit together quite well....and of course it is very random :D
