Window Finished!

So hello everyone :) I'm back! It was truly a stressful week, with rather long stretches of internet free life (which is also nice once in a while) but it's good to be back. And here's a large part of what I've been doing this past week, just to catch you up a little ;) It's the biggest project I've done yet, and it was really a new experience. This is actually just paint on wood, it is the design for a window though. The parts which are white at the moment are the seethrough glass :)

Preliminary Window Design and 800th post

Sooooo, I can finally say it is a step closer to being done :) At the moment it's still digital, next week that's going to change-this is going to be my biggest work yet!

Window Struggles

Trying a new angle :) Don't worry, I'll still get back to intricate patterns and doodles, I'm just going to try to incoperate them in a main structure :)

Color Trial 2

Here's a similar color sheme as before only in watercolors. I have to remember with this, that my final version is going to be quite big, so I have to think ecologically :D I don't mind that they aren't as bright as yesterday but I still have to work on getting the right tones! :)

I'm in love with this color combination! :O They are much to bright and completly drown out the overlying ballpointpen but still :D

Silhouette Window

Here's my last window doodle (for now). I will now proceed to look at color-how I'm going to do that-I still have no clue, but I'll figure something out ;)
If you added a very delicately pieced, colorful background to this, it could be awesome-don't you think?

Finished Window Doodle

Yeeeah, I'm just having fun here :D To maybe clear things up a alittle bit-with each of the last few, doodled ideas I'm looking at a specific aspect-here for example the 'tribal'/'ethnic' patterns or the honeycomb spacing from a few days ago or composition. Exploring these individually is helping me gradually put together a bigger more sophisticated design incoperating many of these aspects. This design is slowly growing at the moment-not quite ready to be shown yet though-so here are more doodles ;)

Honeycomb windows

Love the idea of using the honeycomb pattern to divide the window. Now only the insides of the combs have to be developed ;)

Experimenting with more graphical elements. Still getting to know the weird proportions and it's definetely helping.

Window doodles

Time consuming doodles to get used to this weird format. I'm doing a lot of layout, basic work at the moment-but I really have a hard time with the overall shape :O
