Swingin'

Sometimes, when you're sitting home alone in your room drawing, you long to be out there dancing. So then you just have to put on swing or latin dance music and draw the people swaying for you ;)

Ink pen trials

Too tired to do something more than more trials today..I really need to sleep more ;)

I kind of like here though-she has a mouth that reminds me of those anonymous masks for some reason, and here I brow makes here look wonderfully cheaky ;)

Ink Pen trials

After stumbling upon this awesome dude over doodler's anonymous, I decided I had to try this style of using ink pens so I used the satorialists' repost of this really cool photo raising an interesting point as a base. I really enjoy this kind of drawing, I', thinking of using it more often actually...IT's hard though, because you tend to put down way too many tiny strokes which all kind of fade into a blur at some point-you have to be very disciplined with these...;)

I love that fact that now, in search of something to draw, I don't resort to coffeetable photograph books or the internet-it's actually becoming quite natural to cram my brain for something. I really like that! ;)
