Preliminary Window Design and 800th post

Sooooo, I can finally say it is a step closer to being done :) At the moment it's still digital, next week that's going to change-this is going to be my biggest work yet!

Enjoy the 800th post, I'm going to sleep and have a beer tomorrow ;)

International Table

The coloring is still kind of rough. I like it that way, it's kind of playful :D We'll see if I'll change it again or not ;)

Book of World War I finished piece

I'm really happy how this came out, it is definetely one of the pieces I worked hardest on :D I'll definetely keep you guys updated about the project this is for :)

I need to catch up on on some sleep, so good night!

Book of WWI partly colored

Making progress :) But it is taking forever! :O

I'm not happy with some of the saturation of the colors and I still have to color some bits :) But overall I'm pretty happy with the way it is coming along :)

More color on the sailor

I'm so sorry I've been neglecting this blog a little lately-I don't really have a routine in my life right now, so it's kind of difficult to post everyday-please bear with me! :)

Meanwhile I carried on coloring the sailor dude. I wanted to do more today, but I'm not sure what the best way to proceed is. More color on his shirt (I definetely have to do something about the shading there, it looks horrible-but what?) and I'm not sure whether to color the coral things on the anker either...:O

Similarly to yesterday I'm in need of sleep though, so good night ;)

Sailor Dude partly colored

Soooooo, I have a new baby. It's a freakin graphic tablet!!
It's pretty fresh, so this took me like 2 hours, and it is far form being good but still, waaah! this is awesome!

IT is very differen'T depending on whether you look at it up closs and from far away though :O So exciting to try everything out :D

Takeover Day 13 - Coloured Alien WIP

So, I've got another alien for you today :)

As you can see I started colouring it, but I'm still not finished and it takes me waaaay longer than I had expected.

I'm not even done with the head, yet. The body will take me foreeever -.-'

I really hope I can finish it tomorrow, but I can't promise anything.

The thing it is holing on the leash is its alien-pet, isn't that cute? ^_^

I'm thinking about changing its eye-colour because the red doesn't seem to work so well with the green. What do you think?

Have a nice evening,

Christina

Takeover Day 9 - Billy Talent III

Another digital painting I made a while ago. It's the cover of the 3rd (or 4th, depends on how you count) Billy Talent record.

Damn, I love this band waaaay too much.

Kinda boring, I know.

I'll try to draw something other than fan-art tomorrow...

Have a nice evening,
Christina

Takeover Day 8 - Africa

Sorry, I'm a little late today...

This is the other digital drawing with my favourite colours I mentioned earlier.

Rather simple, but I like it. And I'm proud  that I didn't use a reference for this one (:

Have a nice evening,
Christina

Takeover Day 2 - Bee

At the moment I'm trying to practice digital drawing/painting as much as I can, because I find it fascinating what amazing things people can do with just a graphic tablet and a photo programm and I want to be able to do those things, too.

Unfortunately it's way harder than I thought, even though I love having the option to just remove the last step I made.

This is a random bee I drew and I thought it would be cool to also show you some WIPs of the picture (::

Oh and btw: I just loooove the combination of the colours red, orange and yellow. I always have, I don't even know why, but in my opinion those are the best colours ever to combine ^_^

There will be another digital drawing with those colours soon (:

Have a nice day,

Christina
